An image of me, a white non-binary person standing outside. I have on a black, long sleeve shirt, a leopard print belt, and dark high waisted jeans. My hands are in my pockets and there's a tote bag draped over my shoulder. I also have on sunglasses that are brown. I am smiling slightly, and have short brown hair that's longer on the right side. Next to me is a wire fence with a pink floral bush poking through.

What is Exclamation Points?

I started Exclamation Points, originally, to write mostly about design—as seen in my earlier posts. But like all living things, this space has evolved and changed.

Now, Exclamation Points is where I plan to write freely about my life, my feelings and my ideas as someone interested in things like community, mutual aid, joy, healing and various radical frameworks and imaginings.

All of my words are free and accessible. Meaning, subscribing is free and I have no plans to utilize paywalls.

Who am I?

My name is Cai and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. I’m a queer non-binary trans person, a neurodivergent person, a huge nerd, a designer and artist, a facilitator, a believer in people power and strong communities, a lover of joy and of rest and a human being who loves helping people find the time, energy and resources to live their lives in ways that feel good à la mutual aid, empowerment, and by transparently sharing my experiences.

It’s okay to let these issues pile up in your inbox. I believe the right medicine finds us when we’re ready, so let these accumulate guilt-free. No urgency here.

Two truths and a lie
